Each player has a placement board and 12 placement pieces in front of him. The die is rolled and the hourglass is turned over. Everyone tries to fill their board with the specified pieces as quickly as possible. Whoever manages to do this shouts ''Ubongo'', can move their pawn on the game board and is accordingly rewarded with gems. The winner is whoever has the most gems of one color at the end. And that's not necessarily the fastest! The game is so much fun that even when the time is up, unsuccessful players continue to tinker with the help of the others until they get their board right. The rules are so simple that you can start playing right away. Now the classic Ubongo has even more to offer: You can have the rules explained to you with the optional Play-it-smart app. And if you get stuck with a task, the app offers a solution. Thanks to the lively timer, which can replace the hourglass, players will automatically know when it's time for the Legendum. In addition, two times can be set so that, for example, adults have less time than children playing with them.
